Did you know that we are not only good at haptics, but also acoustics? We want to bring the world of acoustics closer to you and therefore start with our campaign “AVAS MONDAY!”

But what is an Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS)?

The AVAS is an acoustic warning system for low-noise vehicles such as electric and hybrid cars. This warns road users about the vehicle at low speeds up to 20 km/h (EU) or 30 km/h (USA). Since July 1, 2021, AVAS has been mandatory in the EU for all vehicles concerned and may not be switched off, as it increases road safety.

With the AVAS, pedestrians and cyclists in particular are made more aware of low-noise vehicles. We welcome this important measure to increase road safety.
